Altogether In The Park 2011
Altogether In The Park is a big community celebration event for people in Broomhouse, Sighthill, Parkhead and Wester Hailes. This year’s event will be held in Sighthill Park on Saturday 4 June from 11am - 4pm. Over 50 organisations are taking part, offering a huge range of fun activities for all the family. There are three themed zones – Fit & Healthy, Green and Creative. There’ll be a stage showcasing the best local talent, community stalls, food, a funfair and lots of free entertainment including quadbikes, go karts, pony rides, crazy golf and giant inflatables.
Whether you want to have a taster session with The Zumba Boys, take a photo using a pinhole camera, help plant a new flower bed in the park, learn some healthy new recipes, get your bicycle serviced by Dr Bike or try your hand at glass painting, there really will be something for everyone. And what’s more nearly everything is entirely free!
